My lenovo laptop will not power up!! I just got it in march and This morning i unplug it and when i press the power button it lights up for about 2 seconds then shuts off again i dont know what to do i dont want to lose it. It was alot of money please help me fix this problem.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
It may be stuck in sleep mode. Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Also, you could try to boot up with the Novo button, this should land you in the recovery menu.
Otherwise, if it refuses to boot up at all, then you may want to get in touch your local Lenovo support line and take advantage of your warranty for a possible service.
