I followed the guide here: https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/HT104467 and my laptop detects the headphones but i don't hear anything. Is there anything more that i can do?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Would the same headphones work previously and still works on other devices?
How was it using an adapter instead of directly on the port to isolate?
If you suspect a hardware issue specially if there is looseness in the port when plugged in or even without then best to call tech support for in-warranty repair. You may also challenge the port moving it around finding soft spots to check if it would at least give some statics or murmur.
I hope this helps you decide how to proceed next.
Update us how it goes.

Well i tried 3 pair of headphones and all of them are working. I didn't use adapter (to check combojack) cause i don't have any but i tried headphones with (with 3 lines on the plug) and without mic (with 2 lines on the plug). I just bought it and i don't think it's mechanical issue. Also at the beggining audio device menager detected only speakers, now it also detects headphones with audio levels showing up but there's no sound.

Yes i'm using normal 3.5 jack. Also what i noticed when i uninstall the conextant audio drivers i start to see headphones in device menager but when it reinstalls it disapears again.

Sometimes conflict is machine with multiple drivers. Have all other drivers uninstalled from the device manager and allow Windows to use default inbox drivers to choose update driver option in the property tab.
Restart and test the headphones.

Since you have done as previously stated the documented guide for the drivers perhaps you can proceed calling tech support for other things that may need to checked.
They may also be able to test the machine with compatible headphones that they confirmed working to isolate the issue. Uninstall and install the driver available in the support site before sending the machine.
