My ideapad 300s battery stop charging and contunue to drain although it shows battery in “Good” condition. Changing AC adaptor didn’t help. Using a brand new geniue battery, same thing. Uninstalled energy management and took out battery and reinstalled battery and power up the laptop, same thing. All drivers and BOIS setting are the most updated one. Tried everything I can thought about and anone worked. The only way to use the laptop Ian to disable energy management and use it when ac adaptor is plugged in. Please help.

Hi CharF! Welcome to our forums community. Let us power drian your laptop by holding down the power button for 10-15 seconds while the charger is unplugged. Have you tried uninstalling the battery driver under the Device manager? And also, run the update through the Lenovo Vantage app and install all available updates. If the issue persist, run the hardware test. You can download the app here: https://lnv.gy/2PttQMG;
