My wireless adapter is a Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377
I have tried extensive checks, tests, and fixes - nothing has worked so far.
Here's some of the checks / fixes I have tried:
Windows network troubleshooting - Problems Found - "The windows wireless service is not running on this computer"
Network Adapter - Properties - General - "This device is working properly"
Network Adapter - Properties - Power Management - Turned OFF "allow the computer to turn off this device"
Device Manager - Network adapter - - Updated driver / Rolled back driver / uninstalled & re-installed adapter
Services - WLan Autoconfig - Properties - Automatic - Start - THE SERVICE WILL NOT START - The following Error message comes up:
Windows could not start the Wlan AutoConfig service on Local Computer
Error 1068: the dependency failed to start
Registry - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dhcp - DependOnService - Value Data = Afd only
Lenovo Diagnostics - Hardware Diagnostics - Custom scan - Wireless Ethernet.
Scan results ModuleNotSupport
Ipconfig – release / renew
Reset TCP/IP Stack and auto tuning
NETSH INT IP RESET C:\RESTLOG.TXT
NETSH INT TCP SET HEURISTICS DISABLED
NETSH INT TCP SET GLOBAL AUTOTUNINGLEVEL=DISABLED
NETSH INT TCP SET GLOBAL RSS=ENABLED
I purchased and installed a USB wireless adapter - the same sypmtoms as above exist with this adapter also. This leaves me to believe it is a corrupted software issue???
I also went into bios to check if the wireless adapter is enabled - it is.
My next step will be to do a full windows 10 re-install unless anyone has any other advice
Any comments or help on this before I do the windows re-install would be appreciated
