Ideapad 310 Installing Windows 7

Finally, I can make a thread, and now I have Lenovo ID, a Lenovo Community Forums Account, and a Lenovo Store account; none of which work together.

I tried installing Windows 7 on the Ideapad 310, but I had to turn on legacy bios in order to boot off a flash drive, but the error given on the windows 7 installer says “Windows cannot be installed to this disk. The selected disk is not of the GPT partition style”.

I'd rather not wipe the disk and convert it to MBR if I don't have to. Is there a way to preserve the current partition setup and install windows 7 over the current windows 10 partition?

Hi Telemetry32,
If you format the windows 10 partition then you will be able to install windows 7 into that partition and it will not effect the others.
