Ideapad 310 freezes

Hey.

I've owned my Lenovo Ideapad 310 since black friday and since then I have had issues with my PC freezing itself, like a bluescreen without actually getting a bluescreen.

Sometimes when I push it with alot of tabs and programs and sometimes when I not even using the pc.

I need to do a force shutdown and restart it again.

Anyone here with the same problem and knows how to fix this?

This is REALLY annoying...

Re: Ideapad 310 freezes

Hi there, Drakelito      -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

Run a few tests from this link -

http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/lenovodiagnosticsolutions/tools

You should try Storage test, memory test, motherboard test, CPU test. Open Command prompt and try sfc /scannow to check if your windows files are corrupted.

Also, Does the safe mode produce the same problem?

Update us how it goes.

Re: Ideapad 310 freezes

Hello, I've just ran all of the tests above, it doesn't find anything. Any other ideas why my PC is freezing itself randomly from time to time?

peace.

Re: Ideapad 310 freezes

Update 20:25:
It happened again while watching a youtube movie, again for no reason.

Is this a known problem with your computers?

Re: Ideapad 310 freezes

Update the BIOS. Also, try disabling the Lenovo power management & check if issue persist or not.

Please look through Event Viewer, if so you find any error.

Update us how it goes.
