Welcome to the Community Forums.
WIth laptop batteries, life cycle is measured by its charge cycles. Using the machine connected with the charger shifts power directly to ac poswer thus avoiding using the battery chemicals. Keeping it within approximately 20-80% would be healthy preventing overcharging and draining. Heat is one of the major factor to maintain so proper ventilation is advised.
Here are also some simple ways to prolong battery life.
Hope this helps answer your query.

I need to ask you something.. if i kept the laptop's charger on all the time.. will it damage the battery ?
i mean when it's charged 100% and i kept it on, considering that the battery is built-in, can't be removed.

I will not harm the battery having it plugged in even if it goes full charge as the power is switched automatically to ac. Heat is always a factor for battery life so keeping it cooled allowing good ventilation is advised.
