Re: Ideapad 320 15abr 5QCN22WW Bios Update

Worked perfectly.  Had my 320 15AST one day before it updated BIOS and reduced to extrutiatingly slow and glitchy performance.  I downloaded 5QCN20WW from previous post, changed BIOS setting to enable back flash then ran the .exe file.  Fixed in minutes and now my laptop is performing like a dream!

Sounded so complicated yet so simple.  Thanks guys, shame Lenovo don't help when their products fail!

Re: Ideapad 320 15abr 5QCN22WW Bios Update

I also downgraded yesterday and solved the issues, thanks to previous posters!
Always be careful when working with BIOS, this procedure anyway is pretty simple, to sum it up:
-during PC boot keep pressing F2 until you enter BIOS settings, if windows starts reboot and try again;
-look for an option that blocks BIOS downgrade and disable it, then save and close;
-go to C:\BIOS, you should see the BIOS installers, choose the older one (5QCN19WW) and execute it;
-let the executable do its work, the PC will reboot automatically and copy the new (well old...) files then reboot again;
-job's done!

As you see the procedure is very simple, be sure to let the PC do everything and never turn it off forcibly or unplug it: note that meddling with BIOS is always a risk and could cause serious damage, so only do it if you really need, otherwise wait for a solution from Lenovo.
Cheers!

Be careful, worked for me though

This file is not for 15 ABR, it's for 15 AST. It probably would some damages on pc.
