Same here. My very first cell phone, a nokia, in 1999 had louder speajers than thia hunk of junk. Not to mention, after win10 update bricked my 2 month old dell ayear ago and cost me my job, i swore the next one i could afford would be linux. So lived inmy car 8 months and bought the 320 hoping to be able to get back into my graphics, but on day one realized that the bootloader was locked preventing booting with a linux install, it wouldnt connect wirelessly to ANYTHING, USB tethering was broken, no internet, my phone has better wifi range, and yes.....the speakers are the worst of any laptop ive ever owned.
Id made sure to buy a laptop that had a warrenty, but next time ill read the fine print. They told me i had to pay $200-sonething dollars for the tech support to get my laptop running to BEGIN with. And accused me of going to innapropriate sites to cause the problem....nevermind it had never been online ONCE.
So, yeah. a year of sleeping in my backseat to make a personal comeback, for a 17" doorstop i cant even listen to music on. Oh,and following my office depot online review, they canceled my rewards member account and deleated the review. Suprised?
any idea what the hecks wrong with the speakers anyhow? i have an inverter now to charge off my car battery

I am having the same problem with my new Lenovo Yoga 720, the sound is too weak compared to other models from other brands and I m really surprised that have not heard about that in reviews. I hope this could be solved.

Have same, same with my lenovo 330. Speakers are sooo sooo bad that if I would know that earlier I would never buy it again. When I am outside home I can not hear anything comes out, so watching something without headphones is impossible. In general they are so useless that you can say, that this brand new laptop do not have any speakers at all!
Was thinking that lenovo is a solid company but this... is ridiculess. How you can put something like that (crap speakers for around 1$) in laptop?
Maaan I am so mad that i bought this factory broken product and now must have always JBL speakers with me to have laptop that works as it shoud (watch, or listen something).

I recently bought IdeaOad C340. I am facing same issue. My speaker volume is extremely low. I have updated all the drivers. Checked all the hardware settings. IS it possible that the speaker is really bad?
Would the warranty not cover this and replace the speakers if they are so bad ?

It might be that the speakers are nothing special, but would either one of you please define "quiet"? Maybe you are just used to way too loud speakers/in-ear headsets so you are not used to a regular volume.

You might want to use a reasonable comparison. There are literally thousands of laptops.
How far can you remove yourself from the laptop before you can't tell spoken language anymore? Do you perhaps just expect bass and don't hear any? That's because it just doesn't have sufficient room and membrane volume. A laptop cannot cast magic. But when you can turn it up and effortlessly understand language like ~3-4 meters (9-12 foot) away from the laptop, you most likely just have too high expectations because that is normal.
