My Ideapad320's built-in webcam isn't being recognized by the system. I checked under device manager and there is no "Imaging Devices" tab. How do I fix this?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
If it is not being recognized by the system at all, it usually indicates that it was not configured correctly and/or perhaps a hardware failure, in which case, it would be best to get in touch with your Lenovo support line for a possible repair on the unit.
Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
You can however, try to update the camera and chipset drivers, these may be able to help, you can find them on the support site:
If that does not work, you can also attempt to reset the unit, back to factory settings, this would rule out any software issues with the unit, and would help confirm if it is a hardware issue.
Note: Please back up all your data as running this reset will delete any data on your machine
1. Turn the machine off and press the recovery button which is located usually next to the power button. If you have a desktop machine you will need to power the machine back on and keep tapping the F2 key.
2. Use the arrow keys and press enter on system recovery. ( Desktop users can skip this)
3. Select “restore from the initial backup” and then “Next”.
4. Click “start” and accept the warning messages.
Length of time can vary depending on the speed of the machine.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
