Ideapad 330-15ICH - not dark screen in sleep mode.

Hello.

 

When I'm using Intel 630, everything is ok. When using GTX1050 (Intel switched off), in sleep mode the screen is not fully dark. The screen is black but leds likely working. What should I check?

Hi Don, thanks for reply.

 

This is my laptop configuration:

- Ideapad 330-15ICH - 81FK00GPPB,

- Windows 10 64,

- Intel HD 630,

- Geforce GTX 1050.

Purchased December 2019.

System and drivers updated to newest.

 

You can see the backlight on screen (when using Geforce). When using Intel, the screen is permanently black (no backlight).

Tanks for posting the configuration.


Please try an external monitor select, Duplicate — Secondary monitor shows duplicate desktop.
If issue still persists, you may call post sales department or a Lenovo local service provider for further diagnosis.

There is another problem.

When working normally with Intel 630, sometimes windows like 'msgbox' are only with frame around it (see the photo).

Whe I press 'prtsc' key it shows all information in this message box.

I ve reinstalled MS Office and graphic card drivers.

What can I do more?

Hi FredFlinston,

 

Is there a specific folder that you open in MS Office that only the frame shows out?
If the issue still persist after reinstalling MS Office and the graphic card driver, and happens on all your folder Doc you may need to Clean Install Windows 10.

It happens not only in MS Office. Just when the message box is displayed.

Windows was installed 3 weeks ago.
