Ideapad 330 - 15ICH - poor gaming performance

Hi,

I recently bought this laptop (i5 8300h, gtx 1050 4gb VRAM, 4 gb RAM, 1TB HDD) and I have very poor gaming performance ( FPS drop). I have Installed latest drivers for GPU and all new drivers on lenovo site.

For exemple, GTA V (800x600 resolution) all graphic details on minim/Off - 60 fps in first 30 seconds then HUGE fps drop from 60 to 5-10 fps. GPU/CPU usage 30-50%, max 3.2 Gb RAM usage, Temp ~45-55 C. Long time to loading textures/ low quality before full loading

Battlefield 1 - 1280x720 low graphics, exactly the same

Car Mechanic Simulator 18 - same.... and so on.

I know I have only 4 Gb RAM and it's very low for today aplications, but I have run this games on older pc with lower specs (with 4 Gb RAM) and I can play in HD resolution with medium details with at least 30 FPS.

In the near future in will upgrade RAM and storage, but I don't know if this cause this poor performace. I think the problem is HDD (Toshiba mq04abf100 5400 rpm). Maybe if I install a SSD m2 nvme will resolve this problem? Thank for your help and have a nice day Smiley Happy
