Ideapad 330s 14ikb battery or system issue

2019-06-19, 15:49 PM

Hi I got ideapad 330s. When I shut down it and I pressed any button in the  keyboard then it display battery percentage in the screen for a second.

Is my laptop system running is after shutdown?

Is this draining the laptop battery every day when it is shut down?

Can I stop this?

Hi Limbu123!

Welcome to the Community Forums!

Based on your description of the issue it is possible that you have the One Key Battery option turned on in the BIOS. We recommend trying these steps below.

Open the BIOS (Use the NOVO button Upside down "U" logo at the left side of your laptop) You can use this link to check the NOVO button location: https://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles_pub/330s-14ikb_330s-14ikbx_330s-15ikb_330s-15ikbx_ug_en_201803.pdf?linkTrack=PSP:ProductInfo:UserGuide?CID=ww:lenovosocial:20x9m6.

Select Configuration
Disable One Key battery.

Let us know if this works out.

Regards.

Hello Limbu, Thanks for writing back. The One key battery option will still drain batteries since it powers up the screen to show you the battery status. Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks.

My ideapad 330s sometimes drains battery from 40% to 6% rapidly . I have just bought it 3 month ago. Is this the problem with the battery?
