I have a one year old Ideapad 500S - 141SK with mousepad problems. Everything worked well until recently, when the mousepad suddenly got far too sensitive. I have changed to as little sensitive as possible, but this does not work - it seems like the sensitivity is the same regardless of the settings. I can see in other forums that deactivating the "click-funktion" may solve this problem. But I do not find any place to do this...
I also have an other problem with the pad: Sometimes it seems like there is "sand" under the pad. I don't know if there is a connection between these two errors. A theory: May be small particles (crumbles etc?) gets under the mousepad because the sealents are not good enough? Anyone else who have experienced this and know why?
I would be very thankful if anyone out there could help me

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Has this happened after an update?
If so, I would recommend that you attempt to revert back to the previous Windows version and see if the issue persists or not.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
