Ideapad 510-15ISK wifi keeps disconnecting

Hi,

 

A month ago I bought an Ideapad 510-15ISK (Windows 10, 64 bit).

Overall it's fine, except that the internet connection keeps dropping, multiple times a day - or multiple times an hour.

I didn't have any similar problems with a previous laptop, which I used for years, while problems started immediately after installing the Lenovo. So I suppose it's due to the laptop, and not due to the network.

 

So far I've tried the top-3 methods of https://support.lenovo.com/nl/en/solutions/ht502846

The others didn't seem applicable.

So in short:

- Reset TCP/IP Stack and auto tuning

- Disabled Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power

- Reinstall the adapter (also, checked for driver updates)

 

I found many similar problems on these forums, like this one - but they always seemed to stem from problems with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1. It'd appear that those problems could be solved by re-installing the intel wireless adapter; but as noted above, that doesn't seem to do the trick.

 

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Lenovo forum,

 

What i suggest if this has been happening since purchasing the device i recovery contacting your country support via phone as it may be an issue with the wifi card if you have already been through all of them steps. Below is a phone number list for each country.
