I am wondering why it is so and if that is necessary.
I have ssd, one part says "Windows (C" - that's okay.
The second part is LENOVO (D with 24.9 gb of space. And 23.1 it free. Is this really necessary? There are "Drivers" folder inside and that's it.
And there is one other Drivers folder in "C".
I could use those 24.9 gb. Since C is 212 gb.
And one other thing.
Is there a way how to know what type of HDMI I have like 2.0? Can't find anything that states what type it is.
Only usb gen all over web and so on.

You can always delete second partition and merge freed disk space with fist partition.
Regarding HDMI, your laptop is limited to 1920x1080@60Hz, so it can be any version between 1.3 - 2.0. Probably most, if not any HDMI cable should work with your laptop.

In addition, the Ideapad 520 do not have OKR features and the D drive serves as a data file that currently would hold original drivers and application that you may need if reset was done.
You may copy them on a different location for back up in the future that you need to rollback to previous drivers and use the extra space for your data or any new drivers too.
With NVIDIA GeForce 940MX ,
Max resolution: 1920x1080@60Hz (HDMI) Maxwell Architecture : HDMI version: 1.4b
Hope this helps answer your query.
