Ideapad 700 15ISK sound crackle

Hello,

The wifi driver (for RTL8821AE) is causing very high DPC latency which results in sound crackling. With the wifi card disabled there is no latency and no sound crackle. What can I do about this?

Re: Ideapad 700 15ISK sound crackle

Hello Virusel

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Not encoutered this before myself, Try to download the Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
