Yesterday I bought a new Lenovo ideapad 710s and already I'm experiencing difficulties with the touchpad. It occasionally just gets stuck for a few seconds, which is very frustrating, and also the touchpad scrolling doesn't work, even though I have enabled it in the mouse settings. I've also made sure the drivers are up to date, and the problems are still there.
Does anyone know how to deal with these problems?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
From what I can see around the forums, it seems a lot of people have encountered this problem, with no immediate resolution as of yet.
In one review:
The OP has discovered that the reseller has actually had two other units in box with the same issue,
the vendor had to open 2 Gold units and found both had defective touchpads (1 of the touchpads couldn't right-click at all).
In this case, I would recommend that you get in touch with your local Lenovo support line for a possible repair on the unit, below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers, or, if your unit is within 28 days of purchase, you may be able to return to your place of purchase for a replacement.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
