I'm looking at buying the Ideapad 720s with 8th gen i5, but I'm confused by the screen description on the Lenovo site. It lists the screen as "14" FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS Anti-Glare with integrated camera". Anti-Glare sounds great, but I've seen a 720s in a reseller store and it had a glass faced screen, most definitely not anti-glare. Model listed at that store is 81BD000TUS. The latest model listing on the lenovo site with the is 81BD001NUS.
What does anti-glare mean on this model?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Both 81BD000TUS and 81BD001NUS shares common LCD panel screen with part number 5D10N79821 LCD Module C 80XC FHD. It does have that "Glossy surface type" but would also have an anti-glare finish.
Checking on independent video reviews, seems it does not appear to be that observable in outdoor and bright ambient surroundings as much as the matte finish. It does fare on good screen and offered Full HD but may not offer reflective features but rather to diffuse it.
Hope this helps answer your query or at least for your to decide base on your need and location of usage (indoor or outdoor on most times).
