I recently purchased ideapad 720s from online retailer, and as per lenovo page the display is of IPS type.
However, the merchant page is showing LED type.
How can I know the exact display type of my laptop?
Here is the Manufacturer No: 80XC002YAD

Typically you can look up your specs on Lenovo site with serial number. But your confusing LED vs TN or IPS displays.
All screens use LED's for back lighting and then you have a the panel that actually produces what you see being TN or IPS quality. The real difference is viewing angle and to some degree quality of colors. If you have a rather high resolution 1080p or higher. You have a IPS screen, if you less 720p resolution its probably a TN. I looked up that model and given its a 1920 X 1080 screen resolution. Its most likely a IPS screen .
