Ideapad 730s - Crackling noise from left speaker

Just purchased and got the Lenovo Ideapad 730s a few days ago. I've been hearing some crakling noises coming out of the left speaker.

Seems to happen more often, when I have it plugged in to charge while watching a video.

Drivers are all up to date, and doesn't seem to be helping with the issue. Can this be a bad speaker that was installed on this laptop?

Re: Ideapad 730s - Crackling noise from left speaker

Hi mrcambo87,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

You can try connecting an external speakers like headphone and check if the same left speakers would have the sound issue. This would help us isolate if it is driver related or on the hardware.

If it did showed up ok on the external speakers then there is likelyhood of hardware issue that you can report to the store or technical support.

Update us how it goes.

Regards

Re: Ideapad 730s - Crackling noise from left speaker

When I do plug in headphones or external speakers, I don't get that crackling static noise effect.

Re: Ideapad 730s - Crackling noise from left speaker

Had an issue with the speakers and headphones, playing the crackling noise. After remove the Realtek drivers (there are two type of controllers in the device manager) it works perfectly now.

This was in a 330S
