Got a "new" Lenovo Flex 5 51570 15" with a 512GB PCIE HDD, 16GB and an 8th Gen Intel I7-8550U. This laptop is a piece of junk. It is SLOW. Total waste of money. ANyone else having similar problems? Can't get anything to run fast (it doesn't even reboot as fast as it "should")...the Touchpad is a pain - I HATE it. It lags, goes dark half the time (YOU HAVE to use a mouse, touchpad is a disaster). Totally unimpressed and upset that I bought this It is slower than an I7 I bought 2 years ago! 8th generation Intel - what a joke!

I already have a 512GB SSD PCIE drive! It's still a piece of junk. Yes, at times it boots quickly and restarts quickly but THAT IS NOT WHAT I BOUGHT SPEED FOR! This Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 is a JOKE. DON'T BOTHER! I wouldn't purchase one of these again even if it was half price! It's that slow, that bad. It is no faster than an I3-I5 Intel CPU on any other laptop.....NOTE: SSD does not mean fast (at least not much different than normal drives). It must be PCIE to be "fast"..

Yes, ran benchmark. It is running at 27% as fast as other computers with same CPU, HD, RAM. Again, peice of junk. Don't waste your money. I was extremely lucky and was able to return this piece (YeahC. -OSTCO).
