Hello and welcome,
The whitelisted wifi card models and FRU numbers are in the Hardware Maintenance Manual - ideapad 700-15ISK, 700-17ISK
That card doesn't appear to be in the list.

Hello Z.
thanks for the unpleasant answer.
Is there a possibility that LENOVO will put this card also on the whitelist?
The built in card (AC-3165) is slow and because of i'm transferring big files it would be helpful if i can put in the quicker card.
regards

I can't and don't speak for Lenovo, but my guess is no
The usual answer for this kind of problem - unless there's a modified BIOS out there somewhere, and I have no idea about that - is a USB AC dongle.
Sorry I don't have better news,
Z.

Does Ideapad 700-15ISK really have that whitelist thing?
In the link bellow, someone has manged to replace the Intel 3165 with a BCM94352Z (which is not on the list) without any bios modifications.
Also, I have installed a SSD which is not on that list either.
But would the Intel Wireless AC-8265 physically fit inside this laptop?

Hello,
I have purchased an Intel AC8265 01AX704 from Ebay and it works with the latest bios version. I don't know if you really need a Lenovo branded card (like the one I bought; part no. 01AX704) or you can use a generic one.

Hi,
thank you for your answer. So, Intel AC8265 01AX704 is working fine without any problems?
Does it connect to 300Mbps in 802.11n and on 867Mbps in 802.11ac ?
How about the blutooth? Is it working ok? Can switch the WiFi and Blutooth on/off with the F7?
What about the drivers?
Sorry for the questions but you are in such a help for me now!
Thank you!

Hi,
I've put the generic card what i bought for my previous Samsung Ultrabook in and it havent worked (about 1 year ago).
Since then i never tried because there is no easy way to get the whitelist edited or removed from the BIOS (you find all details on bios-mods.com) and i dont want to lose my warrenty.
The card fits but maybe it works only with a Lenovo braded card.
kind regards
