The card works without any problems. I am currently connected to a 5GHz network on 867Mbps in 802.11ac. I can get to about 580Mbps on speedtests (with gigabit connection). The bluetooth works without any problems (I use it with a bluetooth mouse everyday). The F7 key doesn't seem to work (maybe I need flight mode driver from lenovo's site) but the flight mode can be turned on from Windows settings. As for the drivers, they are the generic type from Intel's drivers section.

Thanks again virusel,
We are talking about Lenovo Ideapad 700-15ISK, right?
If you achieve 580Mbps real physical speed, that is just great. In EVERY wifi about 50% of the bandwidth is just ack-packages, so 580 out of 867 is amazing. Yes, you need the flight mode driver which wil give you access to switch on/off WiFi or Bluetooth independantly. By the way I assume that you are talking about Win10 x64, my case is Win7 x64 - one of the reasons to buy this notebook on a first place.
I am attaching a picture of my original WiFi just to be sure that yours is the same.
Thanks!

The laptop is Ideapad 700-15ISK, machine type: 80RU. Before intel 8265 I've had a realtek 8821ae. From what I understand, intel 3165 and realtek 8821ae are equivalent (for this laptop). And you are right, I was talking about Win10 x64.
Edit: Here is a list of suppoted parts for the 80RU. When I have checked it last time, intel 8265 was also there.

Yes, the same laptop here. I just changed the RAM from 1x8GB to 2x4GB - dual channel mode is 100% faster. And the slow HDD with 1TB SSD 850 EVO. Now is the turn for the WiFi. Thank you for the list BUT....according to it - 8265 is missing - only 8260 with FRU 00JT480 is supported. I can buy 8260 but the FRU is 00JT481.
Frankly I prefer your way - 8265, because it has MU-MIMO - which is important. If you are using the AC-8265 for months w/o problems....maybe I will trust your experience. ;-)

When I have bought the card, Intel AC8265 with FRU 01AX704 was also on that list. Maybe they removed it because they don't have it in stock anymore or for any number of reasons. I have been using mine for the last 5 months and it's working as it should.

I found it.
01AX704
FRU Intel Windstorm Peak 8265 2*2ac+BT4.x Non-Vpro M.2 Module.EQUIVALENT
It was hidden but still there. I will order one from China and will post here the result.
Thank you again!

Problem solved and this thread can be closed.

Hi guys,
The same to me here. I confirm that Intel AC-8265 works on Ideapad 700-15ISK. The speed goes to 300Mbps on 802.11n and to 866.7Mbps on 802.11ac.
Unfortunately the physical upload is about 20MB/s when the download is about 40MB/s.
I am talking about Intranet with folder share and FTP.
Anyway, this is a good upgrade to our great Notebook.
The bluetooth is working as well.
Cheers!
