Re: Lenov ideapad 330S overheating

Hi @Emad983

Welcome to the Community Forums.

When you turn off the laptop, did you notice if the power light is flashing?

How did you shutdown your computer?

Update the BIOS on your computer ( usually causes overheating if it is out of date )

  • Click here  and enter your Serial Number on the Search Support  white long search bar and hit the magnifying glass on the far right side of it.
  • Once you get the page of your computer, click on Drivers and Software located on the left side below the photo of your computer.
  • Click on Manual Update
  • Look for BIOS and click on it
  • Download the latest BIOS driver and RUN it with atleast 30% battery charge and with your computer plugged in just to make sure that the process of the update will not be interrupted.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
