Lenovo 110-15 & Lenovo Z500 processor switch

Hi

So i recently owned a Lenovo Z500, and after the screen broke i bought Lenovo IdeaPad 110-15

seems the processor i had in Z500 (i7) is better than what i have on the 110-15 (i5)

and i wanted to know if i can put the Z500 processor in my 110-15
want i need to know if it has the same size and will be fit?

Re: Lenovo 110-15 & Lenovo Z500 processor switch

Hi roeibi8,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

The hardware manual do not offer CPU disassembly as also discussed in other threads here and here .

Socket designs are usually ball grid type or soldered to the mainboard so it is replaceable.

You can share your CPU or check on the socket from Intel as mentioned on the above threads.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Regards
