I purchased a Lenovo 110S a week ago. I’ve found that I have issues turning it on sometimes whereby the power indicator flashes a few seconds but the laptop doesn’t power on.
This happens with enough battery power, for example it’s happened when I have had 50% battery power remaining.
I plug the laptop into mains AC power and it will then power on.
But im stumped as to why this doesn’t happen all the time.
If anyone can offer help it would be appreciated!
PS: my battery is a concealed one ie; in the laptop casing with a cover that’s screwed on.

Hello Jess16
Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Could possibly be a faulty battery by the sounds of it, maybe not detecting the charge correctly.
Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Is this been happening straight out of the box?
Make sure that you do not have any pending Windows updates as well.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
