How to uninstall '0XCN44WW' bios update?
You cannot uninstall a BIOS update. But what you can do is install an older version of the BIOS.
First, you need to obtain the EXE file that contains the older version of the BIOS that you want to install. Many of the older versions can be downloaded from the Lenovo web site, but you need to known the name of the EXE file. The name will be the same as the existing one (e.g. "0XCN44WW"), but with the version identifier "44" replaced by a lower number. Do you know what number you want?
Next, go to the web page that has the current version of the BIOS, copy the link for the BIOS download to the address bar in the browser, and then edit the last part of the address changing the "44" to the number that you want. Press ENTER to download the BIOS.
Next, enter "BIOS Setup" and change a setting called something like "Allow BIOS Downgrade" from "Disabled" to "Enabled", and then exit the BIOS saving the changes.
Finally boot Windows and run the BIOS EXE file to install the older version of the BIOS.
