Hello, my name is Bob and i'm a content creator who covered the lenovo 720s-14ikb 81bd on my channel. All I need to know now is how many pci-e lanes the TB3 post runs on.

Sorry I meant "2 or 4" pci-e lanes. Long day yesterday
So far we have this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/comments/5ykwge/to_all_owners_of_thinkpads_with_thunderbolt_3/
But this particular unit as of now has not been added to the list.

I just received this model yesterday, and I'm trying to figure out just that. Before purchasing I asked a rep how many PCIe lanes could go over TB3, and he claimed 4. I downloaded HWiNFO64 and here's a screenshot:
I'm not entirely sure what all this means,
but I think since I have nothing hooked up to my TB3 port at the moment that the highlighted port is the one in question (hopefully I'm wrong).
Edit: New photo, this time w/ a device attached. Again, I'm seeing both x2 and x4 on that so I'm not sure what's what.

Hi, laptop with U processor usually has x2 TB3, and the screenshot above shows it. You have to look at the first level child entry under the TB3 pcie root entry which is PCI Express x2 Bus #1, so it's x2.
