Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
When you press the Power to turn it on start hitting the Fn+F2 and F2 only simultaneously.
It should get you to a bios settings
Go to the Configuration tab and look for the "Hotkey Mode" option Toggle that to Disable the hit F10 or Fn+F10 to save and Exit
It should switch the use of F keys to legacy
Hope this helps

I recently came across this thread and I thought I should perhaps give you a little heads up!
There are three methods of accessing the BIOS on your model, however only one will actually work (it varies, depending on the model). The first methods are the obvious. You have to boot your device, and try just pressing 'F2' on your keyboard. If that doesn't work, you need to try pressing 'Fn' and 'F2' simultaneously. The third method is the one that I have to do myself, but I have the Flex 2-14, which is a newer device - therefore the approach may differ slightly.
Can you have a look on the side of your device? On the left side of the device (your left when you are using the device), there should be a pinhole. On my device, this is located right at the end, the corner furthest away from the screen (still in the left side). If you push the little button inside this hole (with the end of a paperclip or a similar object) once your device is switched off, it will boot up to a small menu, and you can use your keyboard's arrow keys to select the BIOS option.
If you have followed this method successfully, you will be in your BIOS! Congratulations!
Happy to help,

Hi Good day. i have two concerns regarding my lenovo flex 2-14. first, some keys on my keyboard (backspace and enter) are not working well. secondly, my laptop keeps turning on after 3-4 seconds after sshutting down. the only way i could turn it off is via the power button. Both errors occur two days ago and it keeps happening. I tried to update, unstall and reinstall my keyboard driver but the error keeps on. Hope you could help me fixing this error. thank you.
