Hi everyone, I'm hoping you can help me. I've had my Lenovo for just less than two years now. It's already had to have it's screen replaced, due to a faulty connection, but recently I've been having more problems with it.
Yesterday, the screen started to flicker with a green tinge. Sometimes lines appear, and the green tint fades in and out, and then disappears for a while, before returning.
I had been hibernating my computer for a while, and had recently updated to Windows 10, so I thought perhaps it was to do with an update, or a problem with the graphics card. I restarted the computer, and that resolved the issue.
However, when I hybernated my computer again, and then started to use it today, the same thing happened. This time, the flickering and green screen resolved itself quickly and disappeared...But I am concerned regardless.
I tried plugging my computer into a different moniter, and the green flickering did not appear on that one. However, moving my screen does not seem to have any effect, or be the cause of the flickering.
I would really like to avoid having to send my laptop into Lenovo for a fix, or a screen replacement, as I rely on it for work...Is there a software issue, or an update, or anything like that which could perhaprs resolve the issue?
Thank you everyone!

Hi there, Mana -
Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.
Does the flickering happen using an external monitor as well? Because if it does you may really need to send it for a repair since it's a graphics card issue.
Does it happen even the laptop is in BIOS as well? While the laptop is in BIOS observe if it will still flicker because if it does it could also the display itself.
Update us how it goes.
Tap that kudos button if I helped

I have the laptop for almost 2 years now and it started to show some green color few seconds- I think it's only the beginning...Did you manage to repair yours? This is ridiculous, I've paid £700 on this laptop- I need to check if the waranty is still valid.
