Lenovo Flex 5 battery won't charge - plugged in not charging

I have a brand new Lenovo Flex 5 that once before displayed 'plugged in, not charging' before, but it went away after plugging to another outlet. It also worked later in the same outlet that was used when the 'plugged in, not charging' first happened. Also, all the other laptops / appliances work normally on that outlet, so it is not an issue with it.


Yesterday all outlets result in showing this message. Is there a way to fix this without having to return power supply, etc.? This looks like a software issue to me -> brand new power supply / no issues with outlets used, etc.


Any suggestions are welcomed as I use the Flex for work and this is a bit of a hindrance to say the least...

 Hi Trencherspeak! Thanks for posting in our community. This might be a software related issue but we'll check further to isolate. Lenovo has a preinstalled software which can stop the battery charging on specific percentage. Also, the system is designed to stop charging usually at 95% to protect battery life. 


First we need to check what application you have installed. Let us try the steps recommended in this link
