I bought this laptop in early 2017. Within the last 6 months various different wiifi issues have happened and I'm about to throw this thing out the window.
It is an Lenovo ideapad 100s running Windows 10.
The issue is as follows:
The wifi will either not connect, or stay stuck at attempting to authorise.
If the wifi does connect it will disconnect very soon.
This does not happen with all wifi connections but its happening with my current home connection.
My android phone, and my roomates laptops all connect to our wifi no problem.
My laptop will connect to other wifi connections and my phone hotspot.
So far I have tried the following and none have worked.
Reset TCP/IP Stack.
Wi-fi Power options.
Reinstalled the wifi adapter.
Updated the drivers.
Disabled Remote Differential Compression.
Disabled 802.11n mode.
Reset the ipconfig, released, renewed.
Updated router firmware.
Turned off firewalls, removed anti-virus/maleware
Done a network reset.
I'm currently posting from my laptop connected to my phone hotspot.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?
