As per the Datasheet, Ram used on ideapad 300 is PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3L, two 204-pin SO-DIMM sockets.
Corsair CMSO8GX31A1333C9 (8GB, PC3-10600 (DDR3-1333), DDR3 SDRAM, 1333 Mhz,
DDR3L is a dual voltage capable memory SoDIMM, which supports operation at both 1.5V and 1.35V. DDR3L is also pin-compatible with DDR3.
DDR3 is a single voltage capable memory SoDIMM, which supports 1.5V operation only.
Looking at the 300-15ISK hardware manual (pg 38):
Hence, it is not very much compactible with your machine.
