I'd like to upgrade to a 120-144hz monitor and my question is what HDMI version does IdeaPad 700-15ISK has?
Is it supporting up to 120hz? I have been researching but has not found a good source of information yet.
Thank you for your help!

The version is HDMI 1.4b. So it should be able to support 120Hz without any issues.

Sorry for the confusion I did some additional research on this and it I was mistaken on the max frequency that the video card can handle. The 102hz would only be possible if you had a DP connection and only 4096x2304@24Hz via HDMI 1.4.
Here is the link for the system specs for the Lenovo 700 : http://psref.lenovo.com/Product/ideapad_700_15?search=true
For the capability of the Video card :

I have an nvidia gtx 950m graphics card. I have contacted nvidia and they came back saying it can be built in the laptop with either 1.2 or 1.4 hdmi depending on lenovo. 1.4 in theory should be able to support 120hz. I have a 75hz monitor working just fine on hdmi at the moment that should not be the case if it was capped at somewhere near 60hz I believe? This is just me guessing I still did not find any other source of info on this.

To anyone reading this in the future. Called lenovo UK support (2seprate agents) both confirmed it is 2.0 HDMI. I was still sceptical so I have finally got my hands on a 144hz monitor for two minutes and plugged in with a basic HDMI and it was on 120hz working without any issues on full HD.
