I have a friend who has upgraded her Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 15 laptop from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.
We're not sure if the upgrade broke the touch screen or whether it wasn't working beforehand.
We've tried various things to get it to work, including the item here...
... and we've tried disabling the option to 'allow the computer to turn off this device to save power' in the HID USB devices.
Actually, there is a device "HID compliant touch screen" that appears to be working correctly, and we get the keyboard symbol in the system tray, so the computer seems to be seeing the touch screen okay - it just doesn't work at all.
My friend phoned Lenovo, who took the machine details and advised her two things...
1. Gave her a link to try for drivers from the Lenovo website. The link appeared to be for AMD drivers and was for the Flex 15D computer - not very impressive.
2. Told her if this didn't work (and I'm fairly sure it wouldn't) to revert back to Windows 8.1 - also not very impressive.
What to do now I wonder?
Thanks for reading this, and for any help you might be able to give.
