Lenovo Ideapad 100s-14lbr

Hi, in bios, I was just wondering how to turn off the password for the HDD?? Thanks in advance :-)

Welcome to the Community Forums.


Do not try to remove the battery or CMOS as it may endanger the system password entirely. Before any attempts back up your files first (take note of the reference about passwords in the hardware manual page 24). 


Similar to this article:

"Type the current master hard disk password in the Enter Current Password field. Then, leave the Enter New Password field blank, and press Enter twice.Press F10 to save changes and exit."
