Hi everyone, my 100s Ideapad recently had a charging issue where it won't charge unless you cram it in. So, I ordered a new charger off of Amazon with the same output voltage. However, when I plug the charger in, it doesn't show the charging light or turn on. I tried unplugging the battery and holding the button down, but it didn't work. The gold part inside the charging port is loose, I think that's what's wrong. Does anyone have any fixes?

If the plug looks like this one (for the Lenovo IdeaPad 100S 14 100S-14IBR 100S-14IBY Series), and the gold pin in the center is loose, then you will need to get the power jack replaced. The jack itself is not too expensive (about $15, but it requires disassembling of the laptop to remove the system board, and then takes some delicate soldering, so if it is under warranty, taking Spidey101's advice and opening a warranty ticket, or seeking a competent repair shop is probably your best bet.
