Lenovo Ideapad 100s Won't Turn On

My Ideapad 100s went through upgrades last night and this morning, it won't turn on.  I'm wondering if it crashed.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 100s Won't Turn On

I don't see where any battery is  without taking the whole laptop apart. This will have to wait until Saturday.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 100s Won't Turn On

Even though you cannot remove the battery you can still do a modify version of the reset by doing the procedure I have listed below.  Some folks have found this helpful in resolving issues.

  1.     Unplug the charger / adapter.
    2. Press and hold the Power Button for 15 seconds.
    3. Plug in the charger / adapter and try powering up the system to see if the problem was resolved.

Update us how it goes.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 100s Won't Turn On

My Lenovo Ideapad 100S also doesn't start and I bought it just yesterday.

The white light blinks a few times, then the orange one, and then it all stops. Nothing works. Pressed reset button, tried holding the power button, all nothing.... And no I also cannot find a battery.....

Please help me!

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 100s Won't Turn On

The orange blinking means the battery has between 5% and 20% charge.

Please check this link for better understanding of Not Boot Up, No Screen, and But LED Is On

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 100s Won't Turn On

Over the past three days, I have wasted over three hours just trying to get my dumb Ideapad 100s to even show me the Lenovo logo. I tried this today and it worked. My question is: Is there anyway to fix this or do I have to do this 15-second hold down of the power button every time I want to use it?
