Hi, I'm new to the community and I don't know where to put this thread. Please move it to the approriate board if I'm mistaken.
So I bought this laptop, Ideapad 110 15-AST yesterday and started to tinker with it a bit (by that I mean customize it to suit my preferences and replace all stock softwares and features with mine) and I noticed something: its battery life. It's shorter than I thought. I thought it would be able to last at least 4~5 hours, but I can only get it to last for about 2~3 hours, that is with display brightness set to lowest and volumes muted, and only Wi-Fi is open (using chrome for browsing).
Is this normal, or did I get a unit with defective battery?
And how do I know if the laptop is already 100% charged when turned off? I don't want turning it on just to see the percentage if I won't really be using it.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Try to see if you can change the power plan settings and if these can make any difference.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
Did someone help you today? Thank them with a Kudo!

Thank you for the reply
I always turn on Battery Saver mode, and the longest that I was able to use the laptop was 3 hours and of course with the same conditions applied (Wi-Fi turned on, screen brigthness at lowest, and chrome as browser). I contacted the place that I bought the laptop from and they said that the life expectancy of its battery really is just 2~3 hours.
And how long does it actually take to fully charge? It doesn't have any light indicator to tell me that it's already charged at 100%, so I just approximate it to 2-and-a-half hour charge time when I'm below 10% battery life, but that sometimes doesn't work as it somtimes just charge up to 94% everytime I open the laptop.
