Lenovo Ideapad 110-151BR touchpad

MODEL: Ideapad 110-151BR

 

The touchpad seems erratic and jumps around and sometimes doesn't move as according to how I move my finger.

 

Could somone please help Smiley Happy

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

There are reports in this thread about erratic cursor movement after upgrading to Windows 10.

 

You can also start by flushing out all static, remove battery and AC adaptor and hold down power button for about 15 seconds.

 

Things that you can try:

  1. If you have a Synaptic Touchpad, press the Windows key‌ +X and choose Programs and Features. On the list of apps, uninstall the Synaptic Touchpad driver then reboot.
  2. After the machine restarts, test if you can use the Touchpad by using a generic Microsoft driver. If this works, try to update the Touchpad driver from the Lenovo site (1st), Windows Update (2nd) or from the Synaptic website(3rd) and observe.
