is it possible to upgrade or replace the processor with a better one? preferably an i7

Welcome to the Community Forums.
It is not possible to upgrade your Intel i5-6200U (check on the socket) since its BGA (ball grid array) or soldered to the motherboard as discussed here. Here is the hardware manual for added reference as it would not have option for CPU replacement/upgrade.

Nope, your going to have to buy a laptop with a core i7 if that's what you want. I would do a comparison though to see if a core i7 is really going to help you that much. Unless you plan on buy a core i7 HQ model CPU such as in some gaming laptops or business. You'll end up with a i7 U model which is a ultra low power model similar to what you have. Yes, you will see a small improvement but you may be disappointed. Their are sites where you can compare speed of CPU models and I would suggest you compare before buying a core i7.
