Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ISK Camera Driver

Webcam is only showing black when turned on. Tried downloading and installing the driver for Bison - 10 but it gives an error. Tried saving link but says there is nothing there and fails to save.

I'm not sure if there is anything else I can do or should I try sending it back? I've only just received it 4 days ago.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ISK Camera Driver

Hello SwanQueen15

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to download the Camera and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

Make sure to reboot after an update.

Also, try pressing "FN+F8" I believe this is the most common hotkey to activate the camera.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Did that and still nothing though they did go through unlike the first thing I tried. Thought about maybe redoing the computer and see if it fixes it or if it still ends up doing the same thing.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 110-15ISK Camera Driver

You could try to factory reset, and if the issue would still persists, it would indicate that there will be a hardware issue with the unit.

Factory reset:

Note: Please back up all your data as running this reset will delete any data on your machine

1. Turn the machine off and press the recovery button which is located usually next to the power button. If you have a desktop machine you will need to power the machine back on and keep tapping the F2 key.
2. Use the arrow keys and press enter on system recovery. ( Desktop users can skip this)
3. Select “restore from the initial backup” and then “Next”.
4. Click “start” and accept the warning messages.
Length of time can vary depending on the speed of the machine.

If these steps do not work I would recommend, that you call your local Lenovo support line for a possible service. Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
