Can someone please help me with the problem with my Lenovo Ideapad 320-15AST.
The fan is always making sound as if there are some installation going on.
According to the support website, i tried to update my latest BIOS https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/de/de/products/LAPTOPS-AND-NETBOOKS/300-SERIES/320-15AST/80XV/80XV00MYG... even though i have the same version with different date in January 2018.
I tried to update the BIOS again, but i got the error message "error 182-bios image is equal or older than ROM".
Please help me what can i do, to get rid of this problem. I donot have a service center very close to me, so it would be a great help to get a solution here, before i decide to contact the support center.

Our Lenovo fan sounded really loud when our new laptop arrived and we were so disappointed! The solution is to go to Windows 10 power options - systems cooling policy and change to 'passive' rather than 'active'. We also changed the 'Processor State' down from 100 to a lower number (we chose 50). The fan was immediately nice and quiet as you would hope for. Hope this helps others!
