I got my new laptop about two months ago and have a one-year warranty for it. Anyways, I noticed the laptop has been getting deep scratches on the top cover. I haven't scraped it against anything, but it continously recieves more and more scratches. I don't want to have to buy a new laptop, so is there anyway I can buff them out? Or will I just have to find replacement parts?

Well something is scratching it, so step one would be to find out what is causing them, perhaps when putting in the case/backpack etc.
Try some automotive cleaner/wax on a soft cloth and see if that will take care of the scratches, but I would not bother trying to replace the cover as that would open a huge can of worms.
