Lenovo Ideapad 320 Touch Pad quit working completely

I have a 320 Ideapad and the touchpad has been an irritation since purchasing a couple years ago. I would reinstall Elan drivers and it would work until next time. Now even reinstalling driver doesn't help. In the device manager I see the following message. "A required I2C connection and/or interrupt resource was missing." When I check the event viewer it tells me the device wasn't migrated. It infuriates me that Lenovo doesn't have a way to contact them by email to ask about this. Does anybody have any suggestions. I am currently using a usb mouse but I would prefer the touchpad. Thanks.

Re: Lenovo Ideapad 320 Touch Pad quit working completely

I wasn't aware that the touchpad could be replaced.

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
