I’m in need of some help please.
I have cloned my HDD to Sandisk SSD.
When I try to boot from the new SSD windows doesn’t seem to load. I can see the mouse pointer and it’s showing on and off as busy but windows never loads.
I booted back to the original HDD and boots fine.
Is there anyone that can tell me if I’m missing something?

I would just back up the files and then factory reset, that is always the best option in my opinion (if it loads the bootloader from the NOVO button and then Reset option). Windows applies different settings for HDDs and SSDs. If it doesn't boot up anymore that would be the best option.

Yup, that's what I mean. Instead of regularly booting off it, just use the NOVO button and select the Reset option to get into the bootloader and reset Windows to factory defaults, that should get it back working with the SSD. But before doing that, back up your files!

My issue is resolved.
First time I created the cloned drive, I used Actronis as per san disk instructions. Clone on SSD would not boot
When I recreated the clone using EaseUS instead. Everything is now working as planned.
I didn’t need to reset the system.
