Hi. I am considering to purchase Lenovo Ideapad 330-15IKB having nVidia mx150 2gb graphics card. The link to the product is below. My concern is about the version of the mx150 in this laptop. As we know, mx150 has two variants - 1d10 and 1d12. The 1d10 is the normal version and the 1d12 is the downgraded, underclocked version of it which is about 25-30% less efficient in terms of performance which I don't want to have. Can someone from the technical team or someone who has the laptop check and tell me whether it has the 1d10 version or not? Please do reply as I am in urgent need of a laptop. Thanks.

Hi! Welcome to Community Forums. We want to help you locate the answers you need. Apparently the NVIDIA MX150 GPU version is not specified if 1d10 or 1d12. You may check for the product specifications here https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/Lenovo_Laptops/ideapad_330_15_Intel.

Yes, the mx150 version is not mentioned anywhere in the product specifications and that is the problem. That is why I am asking here for help. The link you provided does not have the Model No. of the laptop that I am intending to buy. And also, for the other models with mx150 gpu that are listed there, it is not mentioned which version of mx150 they have. It's really frustrating. Can someone who has access to the laptop check it with GPU-Z. It will be mentioned in the Device ID as 1D10 or 1D12. Please help.

Hey there, MSaq! Another help here. Unfortunately, we do not have a unit here that we test and check the exact version of the GPU. The only way to know the GPU is by having a laptop handy and use a GPU-Z to check the full details of the GPU.

Thank you for replying. Yeah the only way to find out is by checking it personally. I think checking it on any 15" Intel Ideapad 320/330 having mx150 will do. I am waiting for someone to do that and reply. I hope to get an answer soon.

Hello, the 1d12 version of the MX150 (unofficially called the MX150 Max-Q) is mostly found on smaller 14 inch specified ultrabook laptop models, like the Lenovo Ideapad 320s 14 inch ones.
Given it is Lenovo Ideapad 330 and a 15 inch display, it's more likely you will have the 1d10 version, the faster one, hopefully.
I have the Lenovo Ideapad 320-15IKB and I was curious whether I had the 1d10 or the 1d12, I checked GPU-Z and its device ID showed 1D10. I was glad

Thanks for the reply. I think you are right. 15" one will most likely have the 1D10 version. If your 320(15" right?) has the 1D10, why would the 330 not have it? Your answer really gave me hope, thanks. But still, If someone with the exact model that I am referring to could check, that would be perfect.

I am looking to purchase the same version ... Lenovo Ideapad 330-15IKB mx150 graphics card. I tried to find out which of the mx150 variants is installed and Lenovo Norway advised that it is the 25W.
Are you happy with yours? Any 'issues?'
