I have an issue with my newly-acquired Lenovo 330 laptop. Unfortunately, one of my children had the lack of judgement to drop their backpack on my laptop while it was sitting on my desk. I thought nothing of the event, however, until I opened up my Ideapad to discover that the screen was off. The screen is not cracked, but the laptop itself seems to be stuck powerless as it does not emit any fan noise and does not show the indicator light when being plugged in with a charger. Additionally, holding the power button has no effect on the screen or any noise that the laptop makes. I'm pretty sure it's something internal that was messed up. Any suggestions on what I could do to fix this problem?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Accidental damage may not be part of the base warranty on your machine. It may also not be the case without any physical evidence of cracks on the LCD or on the chassis of the machine.
You can check first if the charger is still functional. Narrow down to check the dc in port for any physical issue. Here is the hardware manual and see page 21 for system power check out.
