I've had my ideapad for a little over a month, and am currently an enrolled student. About 95% of the times when I tilt my screen back to readjust, or even if it gets barely touched, the entire computer shuts off/goes to sleep (it goes into the same state as if you were to close it completely and then reopen it - touch of a key turns it back on). However, this is very annoying, as it happens dozens of times a day, and several times each time I use it. I have been meaning to send it in, but I need it for my classes, and might not be able to until the semester ends. Is there any way to solve this without sending it in? If not, that's okay too, just would like to know if this is out of my power to fix, or if it is fixable at all.

Welcome to the community forums.
Sorry to hear that. If the issue happens only when you tilt the lid, it's a possible hardware malfunction on the LCD cable and it's better to have it checked and repaired. We can help you to create a repair request for the laptop since from the US. Please send us a private message of the following details below. Another option is to call our Phone Support at 877-453-6686 and they are open 24 hours/7 days a week.
